I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped here for lunch. I probably would never have discovered The Green Room if I hadn't had to drive off the main street to find a park. No sandwiches in gladwrap here. A variety of homemade slices, salads and cakes are on display in the cabinet and when I admitted to indecision there was willing help from the friendly staff. The result was a delicious and attractive lunch at a reasonable price. My only two quibbles were the thumping noise which seemed to come from the cinema in the same building, and the toilet (shared, I think, with the cinema) which smelled as I imagine a toilet might smell on a Korean squid boat. The toilet is not the direct responsibility of The Green Room, but it is certainly a bit off-putting as The Green Room apparently doesn't have a dedicated toilet for its patrons.
Used to get a Mocha every morning going to work, now that I live in London still haven't been able to find one that beats it! Miss you Eleanor and your yummy Mocha's!!
